Full-Time Employee Award Winners
Four Kelly full-time employees, each exhibiting outstanding performance and character, have been selected to receive The Character of Kelly Award. They will also receive a cash prize.
Congratulations, Carla Begeot!
Nursing Supervisor
Norfolk, Virginia
Carla Begeot's dedication to nursing began 25 years ago in an Ohio hospital. Over the years, she has brought her talented nursing skills to pediatrics, nursing homes, the Chesapeake Correctional Center, and, for the last two years.
As a nursing supervisor for Branch 6182, Carla has proven to be an invaluable team player. In fact, when her expertise was needed by another branch, she assumed dual roles as nursing supervisor, taking on added responsibilities to help guide the branch into compliance well ahead of schedule. With a personal commitment to provide excellent continuity of care to the clients of this branch, Carla made supervisory visits and annual re-assessments for 40 clients. During this same time, she also performed supervisory visits for her own branch of 60 clients. She continued to admit new referrals to both branches and received one of the highest audit ratings within the region. Carla's excellent leadership and organizational skills have led to a permanent merging of the two branches.
Along with her work-related responsibilities, Carla volunteers on numerous committees for the Norfolk Task Force on Aging, a local group that meets once a month to enhance the life of the seniors in the area. She has also volunteered for the Special Olympics every year for the last seven years.
At Christmas, she and her friends pick a family in need to lend a helping hand for the holidays. Last year, the family they chose had a 13-year-old boy who asked only for a computer. Thanks to the Kelly Employee discount with Dell, this group of friends was able to give him what he wanted.
"Carla is an example of excellence and why Kelly Services stands out as the best in the community. She deserves this and so much more. I have never known a more deserving person."

Congratulations, Janice Beekman!
Service Operations Manager
Stamford, Connecticut
For the past decade, Janice Beekman has provided consistent leadership in the Stamford market. Over the past several years, she has filled multiple roles—including Operations Manager, Interim District Manager, Branch Manager, and Staffing Supervisor. Janice can be counted on to do whatever it takes to get the job done, fill the order, service the customer, complete the project, support the team, and represent Kelly Services in a positive and professional manner.
Recently, Janice took on an additional challenge (and increased workload!) by assuming the role of interim Partnered Staffing Manager at Pepsi's world headquarters, the district's largest customer and Kelly’s 6th largest national account. Janice helped solidify our position with our key procurement contact, the client's end-using community, and our valued temporary employees assigned to the account. Her commitment to Kelly is truly unmatched and her support of this strategically important customer is critical.
In addition to her support on the job during the last 24 years with Kelly, Janice is active in her community. She is a dedicated volunteer for non-profit organizations, including Special Olympics and the United Way. She is an active member of the local Ability Beyond Disability Special Olympics Coaches Committee / Team and serves as a Special Olympics softball coach and volunteer. She has also served as a member of United Way’s Community Impact Program Review Team and recently completed this year’s fund distribution process. In addition, Janice is an instructor at the Danbury War Memorial, a local non-profit recreational and educational facility serving the greater Danbury, Connecticut community.
“Janice is truly a role model in her community and most certainly to all of us who have had the privilege to work with her at Kelly Services. Janice’s experience, knowledge, resourcefulness, creativity, work ethic, spirit, wonderful sense of humor, positive attitude, passion, and commitment make all the difference each and every day to our team, the district's customers, and to the community in which she lives and works.”

Congratulations, Mary Vranesic!
Manager, Accounts Receivable
Troy, Michigan
When Mary Vranesic began her career with Kelly some 28 years ago, she brought with her a spark that has continued throughout the years. Mary spent the first 20 years of her employment in Kelly’s cash area as a specialist, then supervisor, and ultimately manager. She has lived through our transition from punch cards to PCs, from centralization to lockboxes; always making sure her staff was up to speed in new processes and procedures.
When Mary was given the opportunity to move to a management position in the Accounts Receivables group, she wasn’t sure she could contribute to the degree she had previously done in the cash area. She couldn’t have been more wrong! She excelled as a manager in A/R, demonstrating a knack for collecting money, servicing customers, and negotiating.
When several managers were asked to consider moving to a position that seemed to be somewhat unstable, Mary was the one to volunteer. She saw the challenge in making this new position all it could be. So, it only stands to reason that when it came time to choose a representative for the KCP Team, Mary was the first choice. She looked at the opportunity as yet another challenge.
Mary exhibits her positive, high-energy approach outside of Kelly, as well. She is involved in many charitable efforts, including the Judson Center, where each year she coordinates a Christmas drive for the collection of toys and food. Mary is also a Bible study teacher for the kids at her church, and helps transport a woman who is wheelchair-bound to various destinations. She has volunteered at homeless centers, and even arranged to have an organization visit the Kelly Headquarters during the United Way Campaign to show how dogs assist those with disabilities.
“Mary has personally been responsible for ensuring that our accounts receivable has balanced all of these years—never letting us down. She has done all of this while treating others with the dignity and respect they deserve.”

Congratulations, Delphine Reboul!
Consultant
Pessac Léognan, Bordeaux
Delphine Reboul is a people person with a special talent for helping others—both at Kelly and in her personal life.
She began working as an intern at the Kelly Bordeaux branch in 2002 and then became a fixed-term contract consultant during the summer months. She also worked as a temporary for key customers of the branch before being hired as a permanent employee. In March 2005, Delphine moved to Kelly’s new branch in Pessac, which has grown consistently in its first year.
Delphine puts tremendous energy into her work. She is heavily involved in the branch’s day-to-day operations, specializing in permanent placement in the office sector. She is recognized by Kelly customers for the quality of the services she provides, always assisting her customers with job-hunting and follow-up. An example of her outstanding quality service was her ability to turn a local relationship with Banque Casino into a national partnership.
Delphine is also involved with employing the disabled and has been nominated as the district coordinator to develop a program focused on the disabled within Kelly’s various branches. As a volunteer for this role, she has exceeded all expectations, establishing many contacts and maintaining lasting relationships with local associations that support this cause. For example, she proposed that associations for disabled people that test candidates use Kelly tools to assist them in finding jobs. She has also developed training programs to help disabled people in their job search.
It comes as no surprise that Delphine is a lover of nature and travel. Her van is converted into a camping-car, which allows her to travel freely. Wherever she goes (France, Morocco, Portugal), she loves to meet people and discover local cultures and living conditions. It’s this open-mindedness and her love of people that make her so successful in her career.
“An accomplishment Delphine is most proud of is her success in recruiting and assigning a mentally handicapped person in Pessac. This is just one example of how much Delphine loves helping people!”
